In 1962, the Fury gained yet another body style, with a cleaner, less styled front end, accentuated lines, and a limited edition turbo. According to Plymouth, it could "fly to 60 mph in 8.5 secs. with the optional 305-hp Golden Commando" engine

History:

Plymouth’s primary sales maker in 1962 was the Fury, it has all the go-fast goodies bigger brakes, special suspension bits, changed Torqueflite shift points, and a host of options that could either be added or, more importantly, deleted at the factory level. There is also one more option that makes this unusually special.
