In 1967, Plymouth introduced the GTX as the Belvedere GTX. The GTX eventually became a standalone model although in 1971, the GTX would cease to be a standalone model.

The 1967 GTX came as both a hardtop and a convertible.

The 1967 Plymouth Belveder GTX was a B-Body

Engines

The base engine was the Super Commando 440 that made 375 horsepower at 4,600 RPM and 480 lbs-ft. of torgue at 3,200 RPM. The only other option for the engine was the 426 "Street Hemi," which made 425 horsepower and 490 lbs-foot of torque. The "Street Hemi" was available through order code 73 annd added $564 to the base price.
